General Description
This course describes the characteristics and uses of the various Ball Grid Array (BGA) package types. As with all TechEdgeOnline.com courses, there are testing and evaluation functions built into the course for the learner. The course administrator can monitor achievement and progress of all learners. Time required for completion is estimated at 1 hour for the average learner.
Target Audience
The course is suitable for a general audience but will have special applicability to quality assurance staff and production/assembly personnel.

Author and Subject Matter Expert
The author and subject matter expert is Mr. James C. Blankenhorn, the co-founder and current president of TechEdgeOnline.com. His experience includes 33 years in electronics, 10 years in semiconductor design and management for TI, Motorola and Honeywell.
